Dennis Miller has Amnesia

by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 29th 2008 6:03PM

Dennis MillerWhen I first heard that Dennis Miller was going to host a game show, I thought to myself "yeah, I covered that already." But I didn't know that the show I had written about had already ended and this was a new game show he was going to host.

The previous one was Grand Slam, the GSN show that pitted former game show champs (like Ken Jennings) against each other. Looks like that show only lasted one season (hopefully I can catch the reruns), but Miller isn't through with game shows yet. He's going to host the new NBC show Amnesia, which will premiere on NBC in the 1 vs. 100 slot when that show ends its season.

The game goes like this: Miller asks you questions from your own life to see how much you know about yourself, and if you do you win...well, I have no idea, but I'm guessing fabulous prizes and/or money. I'd like to be a contestant on this show. I still have no idea what happened to that jacket I bought several years ago. It just vanished one day. Maybe this show can help me find it.

I can't believe that Dennis Miller & NBC would stoop so low to make light of people with a disability. I have a friend suffering from amnesia and I can tell you that it's nothing to joke about. I am offended that they chose this name for the show.

Dennis Miller is neither liberal nor conservative. He is an opportunist. It was expedient for him to change sides right after 9/11 so he did so. His talk show on CNBC was a flop, as was his turn on Monday Night Football. He was the wrong co-host for Grand Slam.

Hey, maybe Fox News Channel could pick him up...

If you did not already know, he does a segment on O Reilly on Wednesdays.

I agree BSG. He is very conservative when it comes to national security, but is still socially liberal.

Not sure I would classify him as a conservative, more a moderate, I think. Certainly hawkish on national security. A brilliant and quick mind for sure.

It's funny how Dennis Miller used to be one of the biggest liberal democrats in Hollywood. But now, he has seen the light and has actually learned the real facts about what is going on in this country and is now one of the biggest conservatives around. Just shows you that anything is possible.
