Upon Rudy Giuliani's own concession, he offered his support to John McCain. Apparently, he also transferred some strange 9/11 bug in the process. Don't tell me this means the creepy 9/11 sex graphic won't be going away any time soon.
President Bush is showing no signs of slowing down his wacky antics. Just check out this display of fancy footwork. Senior Correspondent Rob Riggle suggested that the country just to give up trying to stop Bush. Was this absolutely and completely improvised? Because the whole hugging thing made absolutely no sense to me.
"Dirty Jobs: Campaign Edition": In this segment, Jason Jones put on his best scruff and flannel to explore the world of direct-mail negative ads. This was all right, I suppose. Jones' segments are rarely as awesome as they could be.
The night's guest was Time Magazine's Karen Tumulty, the only reporter to have gotten an interview with Ted Kennedy and Barack Obama after the announcement of Kennedy's endorsement. Although the subject matter was interesting, the interview was pretty awkward. Tumulty just couldn't play along with the jokes, could she? She was a lot like the way I am when I'm too tired to think of a witty remark in a quick conversation. I just laugh nervously, open and close my mouth a few times like I'm a fish out of water, and then ride out that pregnant pause.
Moment of Zen: Jon's right, that Situation Room clip will never get old. Oh, Spongebob, how you amuse my immaturity so.
