As commercials go, this one wasn't too bad. I mean, it was an effective ad for the product. This guy is on a job interview saying all the boring things you usually say about yourself in a job interview, how you play well with others, how you pay attention to details... um, except for that huge stain there on your shirt... which is the only thing the guy who is NOT going to hire you notices. But if you had that handy Tide pen, that wouldn't be a problem! And these things actually do work-- I spilled on my new white shirt (one blueberry!) and my mother-in-law had one, and by golly, it takes the stain right out. No, Tide isn't giving me anything for telling you that.

Effectiveness of the ad aside, it cost them NOTHING to make that ad. Can I get a commercial that somebody spent some money on that doesn't have giant pigeons in it?
