In an age when most TV drama is formulaic and predictable even at it's most entertaining, "Damages" managed to turn the genre from a Macy's sale special into haute couture. Award-worthy acting from the entire cast, with Glenn Close set as the jewel in the center. It was amazing to watch a show week after week and NOT be able to predict the plot twists, NOT get tired of most of the cast except for the "star", and NOT be able to turn channels even during commercials for fear of missing an intricate detail--cleverly, craftily, and coyly placed. I loved "Damages: Season 1" and can't wait for more!
