Project Runway: Reunion
(S04E12) I swear, if I hear Tim Gunn say that this group is the most talented season yet one more time, I will jump up and scream, "Lies! All lies!" and then flip over a table to kick-start my violent rampage. Sure, there are some super-talented individuals, as always, but I still don't believe that this is anywhere near the strongest group of designers yet.Watching this Reunion didn't manage to convince me that this was the most exciting season either.
Marion and Simone: Hey, yeah, I remember these two! Sort of. Not really.
Victorya: What a frigid little lady! Oh, perpetuating stereotypes. And yes, she presented at Fashion Week, but, from what I've seen, it wasn't much to shout about.
Jack: Of course, Jack had his own little clip summary of his departure. It was rather unfortunate and the re-visitation resulted in yet another tear fest. After leaving the show for health issues, he stayed in the hospital for five days. Most of the designers seemed excited to see him again.
Kevin: As the only straight guy of the bunch, Kevin got his own "Gayest Hits" montage. I think it was around this point that I remembered how much I didn't care for Runway Reunion shows.
Elisa: Strangely enough, Elisa managed to hold back her crazy enough to sound less ridiculous than Guadalupe from Season Two's Reunion.
Ricky: The man may be emotional, but he doesn't cry all that much. He saves the waterworks for special occasions... like every other episode.
Chris: Chris' larger than life laugh got its own montage, just like Season Three's Malan Breton. Heidi's impression of his cackle was absolutely adorable. I was really surprised that no one said that they thought that Chris would win the final challenge! It was a bit sad.
Carmen: Wow! Bitter much? I mean, I'm a pretty bitter little lady myself, but Carmen looked like she was out to start some drama. That final "Thanks, Heidi" and eye roll didn't reflect well on her.
Sweet P: Apparently, Sweet P has found herself some fans in the form of Jack Black and Catherine Keener. Why am I not surprised that they're the quirky types too?
Steven: I like Steven because he doesn't talk much. And his eyes are funny and squinty.
Rami: Draping master didn't get his own montage, but several of the designers said that they expected Rami to win. It looks like most people are expecting him to present over Chris in the final challenge.
Jillian: She didn't say much through the episode, but it looks like she has a lot of people rooting for her to win the final challenge. If she continues busting out awesome coats, she's definitely going to be the winner.
Christian: No surprise here, but Christian won the $10,000 Fan Favorite award. I mean, come on, anyone who manages to warrant a full-on "Fierce!" montage is pretty much guaranteed to win Fan Favorite. Many also expect him to win the final challenge. If that turns out to be the case, I hope someone punches him in the face before he walks off the runway because I don't want his ego to grow out of control. I should also note that it was sometime during the Reunion that I realized my own hair is a limp, sad version of Christian's. I will need a bit more confidence and two more cans of hairspray a day to make it work.
Michael Kors and Nina: I think the judges montage was my favorite moment of the night, just because we got to see Kors totally lose himself in the presence of the sexy WWE Raw ladies.
Heidi: Heidi got her own "Greatest Hits" montage, which was full of her spitting weird metaphors in her cute little German accent. Sausages? What? Oh, Heidi, you're so... unfamiliar with English sayings.
