TVGuide.com readers rank remaining Idols ... and get it wrong
Over at TVGuide.com, they ran a poll to see how their readers rank the Top 20 contestants on American Idol. And, unfortunately, it turns out their readers got it wrong. At least, I hope they got it wrong because if they do truly represent America, then I'm not going to be too happy come Thursday night. They do get one thing right. See that girl in the picture there? Her name's Alaina Whitaker and she sang pretty damned good. Bet you didn't even recognize her. Focus on that because if she's good again tomorrow night then you need to vote for her. Got it? I'll hit a few of theirs and give you mine ... after the jump.

On the guy's side, other than Chikezie's placement, I can't say I disagree too strongly with most of it. And before you go hating on me, I am basing this statement solely on Chikezie's vocal performance, not on his cockiness (which TV Guide even mentioned so it's not just me). As you can see below, I didn't even rank him last as there were a couple that bothered me even more than he did.
Here's how I'd break down the remaining 20
Boys
#1 - Robbie Carrico (perfect blend of charisma and voice)
#2 - Jason Castro (professional performance)
#3 - Michael Johns (he can sing but he seems a bit overconfident)
#4 - David Archuleta (cloyingly cute but has talent)
#5 - Danny Noriega (tone down the attitude but the boy can sing)
#6 - David Cook (I know he's better than that)
#7 - David Hernandez (too bland a performer)
#8 - Chikezie (too much attitude, too many pitch problems)
#9 - Jason Yeager (way too cheesy)
#10 - Luke Menard (voice too whiny and weak)
Girls
#1 - Ramiele Malubay (big, beautiful voice, charming personality)
#2 - Asia'h Epperson (passion in every performance)
#3 - Syesha Mercado (belts every song with a powerhouse voice)
#4 - Alexandrea Lushington (commanded the stage from the first note)
#5 - Alaina Whitaker (great voice but a forgettable pretty blonde)
#6 - Carly Smithson (can sing but I found her dull to watch)
#7 - Amanda Overmyer (needs to show some diversity)
#8 - Brooke White (her hair is bigger than her voice)
#9 - Kristy Lee Cook (so not Carrie Underwood)
#10 - Kady Malloy (a fairly anonymous blonde)
Now, it's your turn to hate on my lists and provide your own.
