Nielsen ratings for the week ending March 30

by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 3rd 2008 8:22AM

American IdolHere are the weekly TV ratings, by number of viewers.

There's really nothing interesting about the ratings this week (American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, blah, blah, blah), except for the fact that ABC's Primetime got into the top 20 with their "What Would You Do?" special. That and the fact that FOX's 'Til Death is on the list.

The return of How I Met Your Mother made the top 20 too.

1. American Idol - Weds (FOX)
2. American Idol - Tues (FOX)

3. Dancing with the Stars - Mon (ABC)
4. Dancing with the Stars - Tues (ABC)
5. CSI: Miami (CBS)
6. NCAA Post Game (CBS)
7. Two and a Half Men (CBS)
8. 60 Minutes (CBS)
9. Extreme Makeover (ABC)
10. Celebrity Apprentice (NBC)
11. Deal Or No Deal - Thurs (NBC)
12. Oprah's Big Give (ABC)

Wow! Only 4 shows in the top 20 were scripted. And if Britney hadn't been on"...Mother" there would have only been 3.

im surprised moment of truth is so low. then again they play 10 billion commercials. i understand paying the bills but last night they overdid it. they would ask a question get an answer ask another question then go to commercial. they couldnt get through 2 questions before commercials it was really annoyng and takes away from the enjoyment of the show.

I love it but fox ur pissing me off. people cant get into shows if they are seeing more commercial than show
