Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - April 18

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Apr 18th 2008 10:01PM
Adam, one of the final four in the BB9 houseWe have four Big Brother 9 shows remaining in the season. We have four houseguests left in the house. Now, bear with me on this; hear me out. This season has been flawed since its start with the couples and the network thinking they were going to make it all sexy. Sure, some watch for that reason, but I think more are just intrigued watching how folks interact with each other in the house. So, four shows, four houseguests. Let's get rid of them one a show, then give the guinea pigs the money at the end. What do you say?

For show spoilers from the 24/7 live feeds in the house, read on past the jump!

If you've been keeping up with my reports, you know that Ryan nominated Sheila and Sharon for eviction. You also know there was a luxury comp in which Ryan and Sharon won a huge movie premiere package for Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's latest. They will meet the stars, stay in a luxury hotel, and go on a Beverly Hills shopping spree. Adam and Sheila obviously lost the luxury comp -- they have to be shackled together for 24 hours.

You would know this if you've been reading my daily reports here on TV Squad. If you haven't been reading them, I'm deeply hurt. Well, unless you haven't been reading them because you either don't watch the show or you don't want to know spoilers. But, if that's the case, what are you doing here now? Do you just want to mock that train wreck which is Big Brother 9? I think I just will go on thinking that you're always reading the live feed reports and you live for the moment they go live each day. Yeah, that's it! You're all in my alliance!

Adam and Sheila shackled in the BB9 house
In house crumbs:

  • Ryan and Sharon also won a movie in the backyard last night. I don't believe it's the same one as in the premiere prize. They aren't allowed to talk about it other than bare basics. It might have something to do with cars because there were two Mustangs in the yard. The feeds were blocked and only showing Sheila and Adam as the movie played. But I must assume they mean the cars not the horses.
  • No one won a car or I'm sure they would have mentioned that.
  • Sheila and Adam were allowed to take off the shackles for the duration of the movie, but then they went on again.
  • Neither is happy.
  • Last season when they shackled Kail and Amber, it was boring. But Adam keeps swinging Sheila around, changing direction, etc.
  • Heh.
  • Sheila fussed and moaned half the night about being shackled to Adam.
  • She has her period, she's on the block, she's shackled to Adam, and Ryan won't tell her what's happening with the vote. Life is rough for her. Aw, too bad.
  • The POV hasn't been played yet, so Ryan has no real idea what will happen.
  • Ryan wants Sheila evicted this week.
  • Adam wants Sharon evicted.
  • Sharon wants Adam evicted.
  • There's a lot riding on this POV. The POV holder controls the vote and actually decides the final three.
  • They're still trying to figure out the third preexisting relationship currently in the house.
  • Adam only has 6 cigarettes left. Sheila demanded he put on the nicotine patch and not smoke while they're attached.
  • Sheila complained about not getting much sleep last night due to Adam, but then she went on to say moms are used to being sleep deprived. So, why is she complaining? She should be used to it, right? After all, she's a single mom!
  • They still think the show ends on the first Sunday in May.
  • They're wrong.
  • Sheila kept yelling and running to the Diary Room door complaining that Adam was abusing her and harassing her while shackled.
  • The majority of the day it's been the Sheila and Adam Show. Sometimes funny, sometimes annoying.

Tonight will be the power of veto comp. As soon as that goes down, something more interesting than those crazy hijinks of the chains of love duo will happen. I hope so anyway.

UPDATE: Ryan has won the power of veto.

The truth is if given a chance sharon will vote out Adam. She promised Sheila she'd protect her this week if Sheila voted out Natalie. Sharon keeps telling Ryan that he can't trust Adam. Sharon knows she has a fantastic chance of being in the final two since she's made one-on-one alliances with Ryan, Sheila AND Adam!

Jackie,

Thanks so much for all of your updates...I don't know how you do it, however you must have been a saint in a past life.

If Ryan doesn't take Sharon off the block he is an idiot...however no one in the house is any smarter so, ok they are all idiots.

The only way he can get the 2nd prize is to bring Sharon to the final two, cause if he takes Sheila out this week and Adam wins HOH, you know his a** is grass. Adam and Shiela are in love and will have many many children in the future so that she will not be a single mom...omg was that just a nightmare I had...

Anyway thanks for the updates you are the best...
As for an Alliance...well I am not sure I can trust anyone in this room except you so as long as you and I are in the final two I am good...

Cheers and thanks...

Adam is pretty flakey. He kinda has to trust Adam though. If he pulls Sharon down I believe she will vote out Sheila like he wants. But then Adam will be pissed off for being on the block again and probably won't take Ryan to final 2 if he wins hoh next week. Ryan needs to keep playing Adam and Sharon like he is and I think he should get 2nd place. If he dominates the rest of the comps he may get the votes to win.

Our alliance rules the house! Thanks for all the kind words ... you guys gave me warm fuzzies.

Now, Adam has sworn on his mother's life to vote the way Ryan wants him to vote -- that is to evict Sheila. Do you think he'll really betray Sheila? They have this love/hate thing going on, but I'd be surprised if he voted her out. I don't think he has it in him. What do you think?

It would be really smart for Ryan to replace Sharon with Adam, because Sharon would most likely vote how Ryan wants, even if she does not agree. That would make the next HOH interesting, because Sharon and Adam would compete and no matter who wins, they would definitely evict the other and take Ryan to the final 2. Ryan is all but guaranteed a final 2 spot if he replaces this weeks nominations.

Count me in, please! I love your live feed reports because, honestly, while BB is the one "reality" show I really enjoy, this season has been mostly too painful to watch, and I've counted on you to pay attention when I couldn't, or wouldn't ;)

Instead of giving the guinea pigs the money though, I think CBS should give it to YOU -- after all, you had to suffer WATCHING the "house guests" this season.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it :D

Ryan should make final 2 as long as somebody doesn't screw him over. If he doesn't play the veto in exchange for Adam voting out Sheila and Adam to agree to take him to final 2 then he is set if Adam wins the final hoh. And he can get Sharon to agree to final 2 with him now by him guaranteeing her safety this week since he controls the vote this week. This was all well-played by Ryan. Except for the fact that the only person he might be able to beat in final 2 is Sheila. But he can't trust her sorry lying crying whining ass because she is loyal to everyone but him. Looks like she kept the wrong girl in the game.

Do you have a contact at CBS? In such case, you should tell them to stick to the premise of the show: A groupe of people completely cut off the outside world. This means that they should choose the contestants for who they are, not for whom they are in relation with before their entry in the BBH, and let them develop their relations there. It would be a lot more interesting and a lot more telling.

We just formed this alliance and Jayr2345 is already throwing me under the bus, what a bunch of crap. Let's backdoor Jayr2345! By the way, I think starting now they need to ban anyone saying 'throw under the bus' or any combination or arrangement of those words on any future edition of BB. They use that phrase anytime someone even mentions someone elses name. They could start giving out penalty nom's or 1 vote for each offense. Our alliance name could be Team Schnoop Dawg.
