It's the time of David Cook's life. The 25-year-old rocker from Tulsa, Okla. surprised everyone (including himself) by winning 'American Idol' over runner-up David Archuleta -- and the wide margin of 12 million votes.

Cook, who only auditioned after tagging along with his brother, even got an apology (!) from Simon Cowell, who had blasted him after the final performances.

After winning, a sleep-deprived Cook immediately went on a whirlwind media tour. He spoke to reporters, including AOL TV, about his landslide victory, what kind of album he'll make and whether he'll be the next Chris Daughtry.
