Christopher Knight lights himself on fire

by Kristin Sample, posted Jun 14th 2008 11:04AM
Adrienne Curry and Christopher KnightFor week two of Celebrity Circus, ex-Brady Buncher Christopher Knight will set himself ablaze as he performs "fire clowning." I wonder how Adrienne Curry feels about this. It's got to raise some suspicions about your husband's sanity if he's willing to set himself on fire for reality TV.

Here's some of the other stupid things the celebs will be doing this week on the show:

Wee Man battling the German Wheel, the same act in which Knight broke his arm. Wee Man will be paired with trainer Vladimir Sizov for a synchronized act. Stacey Dash will perform on the Cerceau alongside trainer Sacha Fedorchev. Dash will be creating a sexy and high-energy routine flying 50 feet above the ground with no safety line or harness. Antonio Sabato Jr. will push himself to the limit doing a hand-balancing act with his partner and trainer Christine Van Loo. There will be no room for errors as any little mistake could lead to serious injury.

Blu Cantrell will also battle fire and perform fire spinning. The act will integrate fire with dance to create a beautifully visual performance. Janet Evans takes on the flying silks that will take her 40 feet above the ground with no safety harness of any kind. Evans will have to overcome her fears of flying when she performs with trainer Sebastian Stella. Rachel Hunter will perform a new act that is somewhat like the hammock. Hunter will do aerial acrobatics inside and outside of the hammock and will also attempt to carry the weight of her partner Sacha Fedorchev as they fly over the audience.

The premiere episode of Celebrity Circus won its demographic, ages 18-49, last week. Celebrity Circus is airing this week on June 18th from 9:30 to 11 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Wow, I had no idea burning yourself was such a form of entertainment. Apparently it's working, because I'm tuning into Celebrity Circus this Wednesday to see it.

There is a Japanese game show where people light their farts on television. I wonder which former celebrity will perform that stunt?

Wait, is he really suppose to catch fire, or is just part of the act. I watched last week and will definitely watch again this week, I'm glad to see the acts are getting crazier because a lot of the acts on last week I thought even I could do. I definitely wouldn't light myself on fire though.
