Nielsen ratings for the week ending June 29

by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 1st 2008 5:25PM

60 MinutesHere are the weekly ratings, by number of viewers.

Yes, NBC had four shows in the top 20 this week, but it took the summer and reality and/or reality game shows to get there, including America's Got Talent, The Baby Borrowers, and Celebrity Family Feud. ABC's new game shows, Wipeout and I Survived A Japanese Game Show, both made the top ten.

I'm surprised Hell's Kitchen isn't higher. #14 is great, I just thought it would do better during the summer (though it does well on its night). 60 Minutes' repackaged repeat segments continue to do well too.

1. America's Got Talent (NBC)
2. Wipeout (ABC)
3. 60 Minutes (CBS)

4. Two and a Half Men (CBS)
5. Celebrity Family Feud (NBC)
6. So You Think You Can Dance - Thurs (FOX)
7. Million Dollar Password (CBS)
8. So You Think You Can Dance - Weds (FOX)
9. CSI: Miami (CBS)
10. I Survived A Japanese Game Show (ABC)
11. The Baby Borrowers (NBC)
12. Criminal Minds (CBS)
13. NCIS (CBS)
14. Hell's Kitchen (FOX)

So You Think You can Dance is on Fox not CBS. You have it listed correctly once and wrong once.

Wipeout #2? Wowsers. Forget the idea (you might find it fun, you might not) ... the execution of the idea is one of the biggest catastrophes I've seen on network TV... yeah, ever. Just for fun, watch 10 minutes of this show one Tuesday night. The way they organize the show is laughably awful.

So YTYCD? on Thursday did better? OK....

And why do people watch Two and a Half Men?! It's a repeat and it's not that great the first time around.
