What to Watch Monday, July 28

by Kim Potts, posted Jul 28th 2008 6:00AM
'Secret Diary of a Call Girl'
(10:30PM, Showtime)
Against her better judgment, Belle/Hannah decides to mix business with the business of pleasure when she allows pal Ben to join her with a pair of married clients in tonight's penultimate season one episode.

The result: Weirdness. Lots of weirdness.

Ben wants to join in, he says, because he's curious about this secret life of Belle's, and wants to make sure her work situations are as safe as she claims. The marrieds have booked Belle to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary with a foursome (and here we thought the 15th anniversary gift was crystal), but when they fancy each other more than Belle and Ben, Ben starts to have some not-so-platonic feelings for his gal pal.

And, it turns out, this isn't the first time the issue, among, ahem, other things, has popped up ...

'The Middleman'
(10PM, ABC Family)
A cursed tuba from the Titanic causes those who hear it to meet a watery grave. And they don't even get to make out with Leo first.

'Jon & Kate Plus 8'
(9PM, TLC)
Elmo may be the most excitable three-and-a-half-year-old on the planet, but the furry red one may have met his matches when the four-year-old Gosselin sextuplets and their sisters visit Sesame Place to hang with him.

'Weeds'
(10PM, Showtime)
Nancy's having human resources issues with her business, while Andy and Doug are having human smuggling issues with their business. Especially since human smuggling is their business.

'Saving Grace'
(10PM, TNT)
Sing your tune elsewhere, sister. Grace, for one, isn't buying the grieving widow's alibi when one of Grace's colleagues is found murdered in a cop hangout.

'Unwrapped: Pucker Up'
(9PM, Food Network)
Bob's Pickle Pops, a frozen treat made from pickle juice. On the one hand, gross. On the other hand ... nope, still pretty gross. Yet they seem to have a devoted following, and some surprising health benefits.

Tomorrow's preview: 'Eureka,' 'Celebrity Family Feud' and more
