Paris Hilton for President - VIDEO

Paris Hilton AlbumJohn McCain's presidential campaign included images of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in a television attack ad against opponent Barack Obama. Now, one-half of that duo strikes back and the result is posted on Funny or Die.

At first, I was thinking that it was nice to see Paris Hilton able to take the piss out of herself like this. Then I realized that she was probably serious. I also realized that since was on this site, someone else wrote the sketch for her and she just had to speak the words. Her reference to John McCain as "the wrinkly white-haired guy" was funny, but not nearly as funny as her attempt at intellectual debate toward the end.

I live in fear of a Paris Hilton presidency, but it does raise questions about her running mate. Perhaps she could reconcile with Nicole Richie and choose her as V.P. They could run on "The Simple Life" platform. Suntans for everyone!

I think I just barfed in my mouth a bit when I saw that picture.
I'm probably for it, maybe it'll actually make the average American actually give a damn about the President's actions.

It's pretty sad when a vapid no-talent blonde is able to articulate a strong, cohesive energy plan better than the two candidates.

Sure, it was probably not written by Paris, but she nailed the delivery in a very credible way. Since the presidential candidates rely on hundreds of advisors and speech writers, you think that these two guys could get off their ideology, come up with a practical executable plan, and then plug it into the TelePrompTer and deliver it.

Uhm, Mac, you do know that Hilton's energy plan is pretty much verbatim what Obama has articulated recently? I'm sure that's not a coincidence. Although she certainly articulated her plan better than McWrinklyBush. Actually, I think she was more articulate in that ad than in any rehearsed or off the cuff performance I have seen Wrinkly ever give.

Although Paris wouldn't have a strong vision for America's future as president (and would need some help solving our economic woes), she would do better than WrinklyMcMisogynistBushLover.

If it is true that Hilton's Energy Plan is the same as Obama's then Obama should take some cues on how to communicate it as effectively in two sentences.

Old Mr. Wrinkly is a younger, more spry version of Bob Dole. Old ideas, ideology and thinking.

I think Obama rocks, but he needs to communicate his plans better.
