by Kim Potts, posted Aug 21st 2008 6:00AM
'The Cho Show'
(11PM, VH1) series premiere
Sassy comedienne Margaret Cho's last TV venture -- the 1994 ABC sitcom 'All-American Girl' -- ended with a quick cancellation and charges by some in the Korean-American community that she'd helped perpetuate negative stereotypes.

And that explains why the star is hesitant about accepting a Korean of the Year award in tonight's opener of her new series, a mix of reality and scripted bits that sheds light on her career and her hilarious relationship with her parents.

Cho's 'rents are happy she's been recognized with the honor, but in the face of such a potentially stressful event, the funny lady turns her attention to a more pressing matter: What will she wear?

'Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew'

(10PM, MTV) 2nd season finale
Wonder if Super Cr3w's favorite show is 'Numb3rs'?

'Glam God With Vivica A. Fox'
(10PM, VH1) series premiere
Vivica -- Miss Fox if you're nasty -- judges a competition for potential celebrity stylists, who compete for a $100,000 prize and the chance to be the one who gets the blame when a famous type ends up on a fashion police hit list.

'The Principal's Office'
(9PM, truTV) series premiere
As this new reality series illustrates, what goes on behind the doors of high school principals' offices is a lot more interesting, and far less stressful, when you're not the one in the hot seat.

'Tabatha's Salon Takeover'
(10PM, Bravo) series premiere
What Gordon Ramsay does for floundering eateries on 'Kitchen Nightmares,' season one 'Shear Genius' cast-off Tabatha Coffey does for struggling hair salons, i.e., she bosses the owners around a lot. And tries to help them avoid throwing up the permanent "Closed" signs.

'Burn Notice'
(10PM, USA)
Everybody say "Arrrrgh!" Not because Michael gets himself mixed up with a band of modern-day pirates. But because that whole pirate thang is played out. Sooo played out.

'Ace of Cakes'
(10PM, Food Network)
The Charm City Cakes gang will have to break out all the Home Depot tools for this cake: a replica of an old school pinball machine.

What's on tomorrow: 'Meerkat Manor,' 'Monk' and more
