Big Brother 10: Live feeds special report - HOH endurance

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 22nd 2008 9:06AM
Michelle hangs in for the HOH endurance compYes, the Big Brother 10 show ended with the start of an endurance competition for Head of Household. Don't you just love that? Akin to how they leave the houseguests hanging, they leave the show fans hanging, too! And they have the unmitigated gall to think people want to wait until Sunday night to find out who wins!

Well, no need to wait until then. For the skinny on who won the competition, read on past the jump. Need I say extreme show spoilers ahead?

The feeds were blocked longer than usual after the live show ended here on the East Coast. I was wondering if they would all be down. But when they went live at about 9:20 PM ET, all of the hamsters were still hanging in. Now, you could have guessed who would be out first. I did. Sure enough, Jerry went down at 9:35 PM ET. Keesha lasted almost twenty minutes more, then fell out at 9:54.

The hamsters swing on vines while the monkey (me?) watches them

Big Brother slammed them some more, made it rain some more ... and they hung in. Jerry was picking up some sort of comp-related items off the ground and throwing them to the guys. His aim was just a bit off when he broke one of the windows in the house. Finally, at 10:47 PM ET, Michelle was out. Then it became an eternity. Not only an eternity, but a boring one. Ollie, Dan, and Memphis all seem to want the win.

Jerry, Renny, and Keesha waiting for a winner

Finally, at 12:06 AM ET, the next hamster dropped. That was Memphis. He just lay sprawled on the ground for the longest time, then hobbled off to take a shower. So, it's a fight between Dan and Ollie for the title. I think we all know how much Ollie wants the win to avenge his dearly departed gal pal. The feeds went into a long block a while after Memphis fell. I hoped, I prayed ... that when they returned, it would all be over. This has been one of the most boring endurance comps I've ever endured.

When the feeds returned, they weren't on long before Ollie went down. He was in rough shape. But, more importantly ... at 12:39 AM ET Dan is the new HOH! Because of the blocked feeds, we only caught a snippet of conversation. From the talk afterwards, it sounds like Dan made a deal that he wouldn't put Michelle or Ollie on the block. My next report later today will have more details.

Did you guys read where Ollie is telling Jerry to feed lies to Dan about Keesha sleeping with Memphis and Michelle to tell them that she heard Memphis and Keesha planning a meeting in Lake Tahoe....Ollie gets everyone to do his dirty work just like he did April. I hope Keesha finds out what he did...I want to see her tell them off...heehee

On BBAD last night Memphis, Keesha, Rennie, and Michelle were wondering what kind of deal was made. They said they couldn't quite hear what was said.

If the deal is as jag said, Memphis was saying that is a bad deal and that Ollie would be calling the shots. It is as if Ollie won the HOH.

Dan made deal with Ollie so Dan could win HOH.
1. Ollie would not be nominated.
2. Ollie would pick 1 more person who would not be nominated.
3. If the POV was used, Ollie would pick the person that would go up.

Dan's a loser

How is Dan a loser? Did you not see BB6 when Jennifer agreed not to nominate Kaysar and he took his finger off the button. Jennifer won HOH and promptly put Kaysar on the block...oh and if memory serves me...butter wouldn't melt in Jennifers mouth and Kaysar was kicked out of the house.

Everyone has to lie at some point in the game...lets wait until the nominations come out...I don't think that Dan is so stupid. He has actually played the game very well so far.

The first time he gets HOH and he basically gives the power away...you are giving Ollie way to much credit.

Yes! Go Dan! I wanted him to win it this week. As long as one of these people go: Jerry, Ollie, or Michelle... then I'll be one happy watcher. I prefer for Jerry to go BTW.

I think he is gonna put up either Jerry/Renny or Jerry/Michelle, depending on what he meant by Ollie and Michelle being protected. If he goes with R/J he will be tiebreaker and Jerry goes. If he goes with J/M he's gotta make sure Jerry goes. Dan told Memphis that it was gonna be sticky this week and he needs his vote. I hope it's a tie vote this week and Dan breaks it by sending Jerry to the jury house. He could say to Jerry that he is not a Judas and he gave his word that Michelle would be safe.

After all of the "Judas" drama, why would Dan make a deal if he had no intention of keeping it? Anyone evicted now is a jury member and that would cost him votes. He hasn't played the game that way thus far so it would really be out of left field if he nominated Ollie or Michelle after giving his word. I suspect that Jerry will go up for sure, and I wouldn't care if either Ollie or Michelle went up, but oh, the drama that will ensue! That would certainly liven things up a bit!

I'd actually like to see Jerry again this week. His voice really grates on my nerves.

Even if Dan made a deal with Ollie, I don't expect him to keep it. He wanted Ollie on the block this week so I can't see him keeping a deal that will insure his safety again!

Go Dan! Let's shake things up!

I am so happy Dan won HOH! I really hope he puts Michelle & Ollie on the block this week. Maybe Michelle will go home.. Ollie needs to stay actually so he can't be with April ..
