Big Brother 10: Live feeds report - August 30
Well, we thought that Thursday night's Big Brother 10 episode was a whirlwind of activity. Since the live double eviction show, there has been another Head of Household competition and nominations as well as a veto comp. It's enough to make a young upstart like Dan collapse and hold his head.I know you want to know. Read on past the jump for extreme show spoilers for both Sunday and Tuesday episodes!
Before I get into the goods, I want to remind folks reading this that they block the feeds for the actual competitions. We get rising and color-changing bubbles, the fish tank, or BB trivia accompanied by the show's theme music. Once in a blue moon they'll actually play out a food comp on the feeds, but I haven't seen that happen this season. So, I can never go into detail on the comps, but since the hamsters chatter, I can report back to you what they've said.
That out of the way, Jerry won the HOH comp held after the show on Thursday night. That comp had something to do with balls and earning points. Jerry nominated Keesha and Dan for eviction. He wants Dan gone. He promised Keesha she'd be safe from leaving this week although he warned her he was going to put her on the block. Meanwhile, Memphis has been getting closer to Jerry and they've made plans for the final two ... or so Jerry thinks. He's actually getting played.
Last night the feeds were blocked for a good portion of the night for the Power of Veto comp. I believe it was most likely the morph one that they tend to do each year, morphing multiple houseguest images and such. Everyone was subdued when the feeds returned after 6:00 AM ET. They went to bed without spilling the beans! Ack. Thankfully, when they woke up well into the afternoon here in my time zone, it was revealed. Memphis won the PoV.
So, here's the current house crumbs:
- Jerry thinks he has a deal with Memphis for the final two and that Memphis will not be using the veto on Monday when the meeting takes place.
- Ah, but Memphis will be using the veto to save Dan from the block and they want to go to the final two.
- Memphis and Dan aren't saying anything about their plans. Memphis will let the others know he's using at the veto meeting itself and not before.
- Once the veto is used, Renny is the only one who can go on the block.
- Dan and Memphis will be the only votes this week. They plan to vote out Renny.
- Sigh. I like Renny!
People are asking if Renny has been told of the hurricane. I doubt it. However, I would think since she went through Katrina and has lived her life in New Orleans, plus she knew she would be in the house through the hurricane season ... I'm sure she and her family have already made plans. If something major happens to her home or family, BB will surely let her know like they did Monica in BB2. If memory serves, they did not tell the houseguests about Katrina when it happened. They did tell them of 9/11 because Monica's cousin died and they offered to let her go home.
