America's Got Talent: Episode 315

America's Got Talent
(S03E15) "You got everyone in this room including a girl I'm dating." - The Hoff to Joseph Hall

Other performers "got everyone in this room" as The Hoff said because the Top 10 offered a good number of fantastic performances. It will be difficult for America to vote for the America's Got Talent winner next week because the competition is fierce. This week, the judges actually told at least three performers, in one way or another, that they were front runners but there can be only one winner. But first, they must get voted through to the Top 5. Who will make the cut?

Based on the performances we were offered this week, I believe Neal E. Boyd, Queen Emily, Nuttin But Stringz and Eli Mattson will get a spot in the Top 5. As for that last spot, I'm on the fence. As you know, I'm not a fan of Donald Braswell, but I must admit that tonight he gave a very good performance and, if I closed my eyes to not see his exagerated facial expressions, I actually enjoyed myself. Plus, Donald has America behind him since voters put him in the Top 40. Jessica also gave a solid performance this week but if you look back at her other performances, I'm not sure she will make it... Paul is another performer that could get that final spot but I believe Donald has a bigger following.

Kaithlyn Maher gave a very poor performance tonight. She Her father listened to the judges comments and tried to have her move around the stage and do some gestures. We saw that she is not ready to combine both singing and moving around, which is critical to get further in the competition. She is young and has time to take courses and improve. And, as The Hoff said, she can come back for the next 70 years of AGT!

The Wright Kids made a bad song choice. They didn't show the needed energy and didn't connect enough with the crowd for such a song. They got further than I thought they would but this has to be the end of the road for them.

Joseph Hall may look and move like Elvis but he doesn't have the voice to support his act. Even if I think he shouldn't move on, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Top 5 since he got women screaming like high school girls!

I'm not even going to comment on my Top 4 because they were just WOW!

Although I just heard the results I must congratulate you on your very accurate predictions. After all the performances last night I couldn't have agreed more with your choices. I'm a big Eli fan and think he has what it takes to win, but apparently Nuttin but Stringz has America's heart. I think they would be a good choice, but I feel like they exaggerate too much and it becomes almost painful to watch their expressions. Eli seems so natural and fit to be a star. Well I suppose will find out who the winner will be very soon!

if the judges think katlin is too young for vegas why did she make it to the semifinals? nothing but strings is the same act every week. i think queen emily should win . eli is like everyone else on American Idol.

WHERE ARE THE GOOD SHOWS... THE NETWORKS CANNED BACK TO YOU.. CANNED CAINE.. AND PUT ON SOMEMORE MINDLESS SILLY REALITIES.. ARE YOU KIDDING PEOPLE? I ENJOY T.V. AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY BUT THIS IS DUMP T.V. AT ITS WORST EVER... WHAT ABOUT H.B.O. WHEN DO THEY START THE NEW SHOWS.. BORING BORING BORING

I probably won't watch AGT next year since it's turning into yet another singing competition. That being said, I hope America choses little Kaitlyn because it would serve AGT right for putting her in the Top 40 to begin with. They'd have a winner they wouldn't know what to do with. These competitions need age limits!

Wow...I thought Kaitlyn did horrible last night. Yes, shes cute and yes its amazing that she remembers all the words, but last nights performance was the worse for her. I honestly think Pierce was telling america to vote for the talent...not sympathy votes. Very well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also agree about Joseph Hall...his performance was great, but the singing was horrible. I also wasnt impressed w/ Jessica Price, but DH thought she was good...Eh.

Why did Pierce 'X' Paul Salos?

Neal Boyd and Queen Emily will def make it through. LOL..thats a gimme! Nuttin but Stringz did a great performance and my fav is still Eli Mattson...there is just something about him. I guess my last pick would either be Paul or Donald.

I've got the same top four in mind that you do, but if it were up to me, I'd give the fifth nod to Paul. I just wasn't impressed with any of the rest.

Bonus points to Piers for getting more blatant with his "Vegas is no place for a 4 year old" comments.

I have to agree. Except the singing isn't nearly as good. I wish this show would stick to "variety" instead of "mostly singers". I don't mind a few -exceptional- singers, but they better be darn good. As of now it's just people that are too old/unmarketable/bad to be on Idol.
