Ted McGinley and Inna Brayer"It's not about the result. It's about the doing. The 'doing' is the win."

Ted McGinley was visibly sad to be the second star sent home. Considering his status as the patron saint of Jump the Shark, that's understandable. He's used to staying with shows until the very end.

Lack of a large fan base unquestionably contributed to his early exit. But he had a lot of fans among his competitors. "I loved watching him on 'Married With ... Children,' Lance Bass enthused. Meanwhile his partner Lacey Schwimmer revealed a personal connection. "Ted went to high school with my mom! They just saw each other in the hallway."

Alec Mazo and Toni Braxton were convinced McGinley would have stuck around if he'd done his second dance first. "I thought he was much better [the second night], said Mazo. "I agree. If he'd done that first..." said Braxton before her partner finished her thought, "He would have had a shot at it."

While he may not be as big as Bass or Braxton, McGinley certainly has very vocal fans who were outraged at his ousting.
