Sarah Connor Chronicles is THIS close to being canceled

Sarah Connor ChroniclesRemember all of the interest over the summer about whether or not FOX was going to keep The Sarah Connor Chronicles or cancel it after one season like they do with so many fan favorites? Well, how come you're not watching the show?

There are reports swirling around that the network is going to cancel the Monday night show because of bad ratings, ratings that worse than FOX expected. The show is averaging a 4.1/6, which means it's down 34% from last year. Even the 18-49 demo loved by networks and advertisers aren't watching the show. When the geeks science fiction enthusiasts aren't watching the show, you know you're in trouble.

I have to admit I've drifted away from the show. There are just too many shows to watch and towards the end of the first season I sort of decided to not want to follow this story anymore (same thing is happening with Fringe). Anyone else there stop watching this show after the first season?

I am just disgusted with Fox. They seem to always cancel the good shows. Like Firefly and even Family Guy once. I think the move to Friday for the Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of the worst things to do. Especially when everything is starting to come into place for season 2. I just hope that the ratings go higher once the show starts to shape into what I think will be the best season in the show yet.

I have to watch the show on Hulu, because I play darts on Monday night. My girlfriend and I love the show intensely. A different night would be better. Maybe they should cancel that horse &#@$ called "Secret Millionaire" and move it to Wednesday. We don't need another ill-conceived reality show, that's for $@*# sure.

This is the best show on TV until 24 gets back on. I love to watch the evolution of characters, especially the robot. Great action, great writing, sensitively done. I would hate it if it was canceled.

I don't really watch TV muh anymore really, I've drifted away from CSI etc after being totally loyal for a while.

But on a whim I started watching Sarah Connor Chronicles on Blu-Ray and was hooked. Season 2 is GREAT and I haven't seen anything this addictive in a long long time.

Funny I don't miss Ahnold at all either, that's saying alot for something that has it's life from his character.

I'm used to great shows getting the axe, while watching tripe air for season after season after season and they keep them going.

It MUST stay!

The networks are fools if they don't count DVR viewers in the ratings. I bougtht my first TIVO unit 5 years ago and I have not watched "live" television since. Why would I? If I want to see a show I create a season pass for it. End of story.

I watch the Terminator series religiously. It's about the only good show on TV right now IMO. Samantha Who is the only other show I watch. I loved Bionic Woman too, and those idiots canceled it. I expect T will get canceled as well, because it KICKS A$$! And networks HATE good shows. They are dedicated to showing UTTER DRIVEL for the most part.

And OMFG, I am IN LOVE with Shirley Manson! It is so awesome to see her in just about anything!

Fox is run by giant screaming retards if they cancel this show.

I agree with most of the posters here. Absolutely amazing show, with the typical insane Fox problem: my family can't even TiVo this show because it's on at the same time as Dancing with the Stars and a bunch of other Monday night juggernauts!

Did they ever think to put a good show on a different timeslot where we can actually watch it?

Or that scifi shows probably have a more dominant TiVo-owning viewership?

90% of the shows I almost loved were on Fox then cancelled prematurely because Fox execs are... there's no other word for it: morons.

I thought this show was stupid, but I feel entirely different now. I have watched all of them and they keep getting better. I think it is a good show, but it's just not in placed in the right time. Maybe move it to Wednesdays or Thursdays. I will buy the season dvds!

I love this show, however its going to be hard to watch sincefox has been dropped from time warners lineup due to them not being able to negotiate a contract.

I'm having a hard time getting back into it. Watched the premiere and now have 3 episodes in my DVR. It's all the same all the time. Where can the story really go?

I definitely still watch the show. I try to catch it on the TV during air times but sometimes I have to work. This show has gotten way better this season with more character tension and plot development towards John Connor the soldier. I think anyone who put this one down after season 1 should pick it back up and give it another shot. It would be terrible to lose another good show.
