Opportunity Knocks on heaven's door

J.D. RothSo ABC has canceled the reality game show Opportunity Knocks, the Ashton Kutcher show where family members win money if they know a lot about other family members. The show hasn't been doing well in the ratings at all. The cancellation takes effect immediately, though ABC has a handful of episodes in the can which they're going to show whenever they can find a time slot where it won't hurt them at a more convenient time.

So I bet you're thinking, "Gee, I wonder what show is going to replace Opportunity Knocks?" Which of the following shows do you think it is?

If you guessed 20/20, you're absolutely...wrong. Actually, they're going to create another Dancing with the Stars recap show, because God knows we need yet another episode that examines what exactly is happening on that particular program. Not sure what else they can possibly say that you don't get in other episodes of DWTS (maybe they can get John King and his magic board from CNN and do in-depth analysis of the dance moves) but the ep will run just before the live results episodes.

Maybe "Reality TV" is finally burning itself out! Now let's hope the serial killer shows go away too.

The cancellation is most likely my fault. This was a show I actually enjoyed watching.

Maybe I should start watching DWTS so that will be taken off the air :)

Hopefully repeats of Green Acres. Since TVLand seems to be phasing out their classic TV, why not.

I thought it was going to be "According to Jim".

It has been able to survive everything short of the apocalypse.

I can see it now, the only thing surviving a nuclear war would be roaches and According to Jim.
