can someone explain a couple of things for me? why is sci-fi channel showing wrestling and even more important why is wrestling even on tv?

Is HOUSE definitely new tonight? Earlier today, it was being preempted so that Fox could air the last three innings of last night's World Series game. But now that suspended game has been re-scheduled for tomorrow night, is Fox going to burn off an episode of one of their highest rated shows on a night when viewers aren't sure whether or not it's going to be on?
