Daily Show and Colbert Report marathon for those that need a distraction

Stewart and Colbert
Feeling a little stressed out about Election Day? Worried you'll completely seize up with anxiety in the voting booth, collapse and not be found for several hours? Worried that the building will burst into flames and/or the Rapture will happen before anyone does find you? Yeah. Yeah, me too. For those that want a little something to calm their nerves before/after they do their American duty and have already run out of horse tranquilizers, Comedy Central is running an all-day marathon of the most recent episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on November 4th.

The shows will run from 10 a.m. to the 10 p.m. hour-long live election spectacular, during which everyone's anxiety will kick into high gear, I'm sure. If you won't have access to a TV but are actually homeless in New York City, the special will simulcast on MTV's screen in Times Square. Also, if the sight of Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert make you uneasy, the incredibly funny Patton Oswalt is live-blogging throughout on Comedy Central's Indecision 2008 site. More information on that goodness can be found here.

The past few weeks have offered amazing material for both shows. In fact, TDS and TCR saw record audiences last week, when Stewart interviewed Senator Barack Obama and the audience continued to tune in for Colbert. Watch it while it's still relevant and super-scary!

Marathon... hum...

I've been watching TDS on their website for a couple of months now so if I really wanted to, I could do a marathon of all the episodes ever recorded.

I'm currently doing a "Real Time" marathon though thanks to BITs and pieces I found in TORRonto in an ENTerprise there... *cough*
