What to Watch Tuesday, Nov. 11

by Kim Potts, posted Nov 11th 2008 5:00AM
Blush'Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist'
(10PM, Lifetime) series premiere
Not to be confused with VH1's recent 'Glam God' series, which searched for the best wannabe celeb stylist, 'Blush' contestants are competing to become the next big celeb makeup artist.

Soap star Vanessa Marcil hosts the six-episode series in which nine contestants compete to win a contract with Max Factor, the chance to do makeup for an In Style mag photo shoot and a $100,000 cash prize.

Like all the best reality competition shows, 'Blush' has its own scene stealer, one-word monikered Maxi, who tells the camera during a challenge in which a model gets raisins pasted on her face, "It could be the cherry on my career or it could be a nail in my coffin."

'Body of War'
(7PM, Sundance)
In honor of Veterans Day, Sundance airs this award-winning documentary, co-directed by talk show legend Phil Donahue, which follows 25-year-old Missouri soldier Tomas Young as he returns home after suffering an Iraq War injury that has left him paralyzed for the rest of his life.

'The Biggest Loser: Families'
(8PM, NBC)
Surprise, surprise, surprise. And surprise. Four major changes shake up the game this week, as the remaining contestants begin playing as individuals instead of teams; this season's eliminated contestants return (and one will get to stay); last season's winner, Allison Vincent, pops in to provide some motivation; and, after the weigh-in, the players are thrown another curveball regarding this week's elimination.

'Cha$e'
(10PM, Sci Fi) series premiere
You can play with videogames, or, like the contestants in this new reality show, you can play in one. The action-packed series pits contestants against "hunters," who trail them throughout various Los Angeles locations. The last player who doesn't get 'overrun' by a hunter wins up to $50,000.

'Lincoln Heights'
(9PM, ABC Family) 3rd season finale
Teen sex, robbery, a pregnancy scare, a hit-and-run death ... that was just leading up to tonight's finale, which will find the Suttons in the middle of a deadly Los Angeles earthquake.

'The Mentalist'

(9PM, CBS)
On tonight's episode of the only bona fide new hit of the TV season, Patrick uses his mentalist skills to a casino, where he helps solve the murder of the gambling joint's owner. And if he just happens to win some cash at the card table, so be it.

'Law & Order: SVU'
(10PM, NBC)
Teen star Jesse McCartney guests as Stabler and Munch investigate a teen arson -- that's a teen who's been set on fire -- that leads them to a ripped-from-today's-headlines teen pregnancy pact and a manipulative boy who's the puppetmaster behind the whole deal.

'Heroes at Home'
(8PM, MyNetworkTV)
Another Veterans Day tribute: NFL vet Howie Long hosts this look at six Iraq War veterans and surprises the heroes -- many who return home with life-changing injuries -- with vacations and other gifts to make their lives easier as they return home to their families.

Also on tonight:
- 'Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is' (10PM, BET) 3rd season premiere
- 'Extreme Loggers' (10PM, Discovery) series premiere
- 'Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel' (10PM, TruTV)

What's on tomorrow: 'Top Chef' premiere, CMA Awards and more
