Desperate Housewives: City on Fire

I think Dave is the brother of the drug-junkie guy Mike killed while trying to save his ex-gf (the one he was all about in the first season).

in the 5 year gap Mike and Susan get into a car crash and kill a family...i think that that was Dave's original family and so dave is after mike

Did anyone realize the reporter doing a story on Bree is the chick from the Quaker rice cakes commercials?

At the end of a few episodes back, Mary Alice's monologue is talking about dave and she says "He now turned his thoughts to his real agenda...it wouldn't be long now before he destroyed the man who ruined his life, he knew he had to move carefully...after all he wanted it to be a surprise"

and all of a sudden, the few clues we as viewers have been given so far fell perfectly into place.

DAVE WANTS TO KILL MIKE!----thats my theory, that Dave is the husband and father of the mother and daughter that were in the car crash with mike and susan, dave blames him for their death because he was driving! So Dave is out to get mike!
and he had to get rid of Mrs.Mcklusky because she knew Dave was up to no good.

Anyways thats just my theory of the series 5 mystery, i personally think i've got it right, but as all DH fans know...anything is possible.

Also after seeing 'City on Fire' i think my theory is further supported, as we learn dave has lived in fairview before, and as the doctor is looking at the battle of the bands poster, the camera stops just as the doctor reads mikes name, and the doctor then goes off it with dave.

What do peeps think of my theory?

Orson is alive.. the talk about him in abc promo... the focus is on mike or jackson... did jackson go on th run? mike have amniesa again?

A shows ago we learned dave's brother was killed in prison... the guy that killed him claimed self defense... Dave doesn't believe it was... Did everyone miss that? So we can stop with other theories.

I forgot Carlos was in Prison.. i always thought Mike was too easy... and who is to say Tom wasn't there long time ago? juvie maybe?

Has no one noticed that Bree and Orson were not in the final scene? Outside, we saw everyone but Bree and Orson. We saw Carlos and Gaby getting into the ambulance, and Susan, Lynette, Tom, Edie, Jackson, Dave, and Katherine were all out there at some point.

I think Orson died in the fire. Remember, he got kicked in the face as he was trying to help Carlos up off the floor. We saw him push Bree toward the door. But we never actually saw Orson leave or saw him outside.

And in the coming attractions, there is only one reaction shot of Bree, looking kind of strange....

I think its pretty clear that Mike is the target -- "i'm not through with you yet" is not proof enough? Besides the DH writers are not that clever to give us red herrings. The word is -and stop reading this if you don't want to hear a possible spoiler is that Dave is the husband of the wife that Mike and Susan killed. Just a theory. Glad that James Denton did not die, are there any other fans out there because it seems like they always seem to threaten that he will die at some point.

I' m confused by Dave's "new name" because Dr. Heller acted like he was surprised to see him using another name - yet, didn't he go to Fairview after getting the call from the McCluskeys who used his new name in referring to him? I'm probably missing something.... And having Steven Weber as Julie's boyfriend was strange since he also played on Brothers and Sisters and will be on that show (both shows?) next week according to their preview. Oh, by the way Mr. Cherry, if you're planning on Gaby winning Virginia over because she is "the only one who has ever told her no" - you've still got time to invent a more original storyline than that.

Dave may have had plastic surgery and not look like he did in the past. Carlos is a good suspect but I really think it must be Mike. Dave saved him because he wanted the revenge (or whatever!).
