Who wants to watch Celebrity Apprentice for two hours?

by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 3rd 2008 7:08PM
TrumpWhat's better than one hour episodes of Celebrity Apprentice? I would answer "zero hour episodes" but NBC is thinking a little different. Celebrity Apprentice is now going to be two hours long.

That's right, Mark Burnett has announced that each episode of the next edition of Donald Trump's reality show is going to be two hours long and will run on Sunday nights. No word on when the show will debut, but sources are saying that it will probably bow in February, with cast members Joan and Melissa Rivers, Andrew Dice Clay, Clint Black, Tom Green and others vying for the top spot.

Trump must be happy to see his show expanded while Rosie O'Donnell's show crashed in flames.

I can't say I'd never watch this show. If they had Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Amy Sedaris, and Stephen Colbert going up against Andy Dick, Jon Stewart, John Slattery, and Famke Janssen, then I'd watch it. But you'll never see any of those people on the show.

Well, maybe Andy Dick.

They should just bring back the non-celebrity version. It was far more interesting, much less gimicky (at least for Trump), and people were actually trying to get a real job.

I'm not saying for sure I'd watch it with regular people, but I absolutely KNOW that I won't be watching another Celebrity Apprentice. I'd rather see another winter Big Brother before I see another Celebrity Apprentice. Ugh!!!

If episodes of seasons 1 and 2 were 2 hours, then it would have been worth watching. Instead, they overcut each episode.

This is almost as bad as taking up 2 hours every Tuesday night for Biggest Loser.

If Joan and Melissa are on the show, I WILL NOT WATCH. These two are not worth my time. The show is long enough at l hour let alone 2 hours. Last two have been boring at least.

i agree! can melissa do something one time without her mother being right by her side? i remember when she got married, joan just gushed about her son-in-law, then the baby came and then boom! she is divorced and they are together constantly.
