5 Questions With: Lisa Rinna

TV star, exercise video creator, fashionista and upcoming author Lisa Rinna, who's just one self-titled magazine away from snagging the title herself. And Rinna's looking to add something to the list that those other TV divas wouldn't dare -- she recently told Extra that she's considering posing for Playboy.

The 'Melrose Place' and 'Days of Our Lives' alum and 'Dancing With the Stars' season 2 contestant is teaching fans of the show how to get down and boogie with their bad selves via her just released dance and exercise DVDs -- 'Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful - Learn & Burn' and 'Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful - Jive, Jump, Ballroom Bump' -- created with her 'DWTS' partner Louis van Amstel.

With her DVDs in stores now, Rinna talked to AOL TV about how dancing is the best workout, her upcoming reality show with husband of 10 years Harry Hamlin, a 'Melrose' remake and whether or not we gave her hubby his appropriate TV hunk props.

1. Are your new dance/workout DVDs based on the actual routines you did when you were on 'Dancing With the Stars'?
Yes, they're based on all the dances that I did with Louie. Louie took the choreography that we did, and he made them into dances you can do by yourself in your house. It's really fun, and easy to learn, but as I can testify from the show, it is also the best workout. We had a big DVD release party last night and we played the video all night on a big 50-inch TV ... people seemed to want to get up and try it, so it's exciting.

2. You and Harry have just signed on to star in a reality show for TV Land. Will it be a couples show, or will it also include your daughters, Delilah and Amelia?
Yes, it's called 'I Love Lisa,' and it's sort of a modern take on 'I Love Lucy.' Everyone's going to be in it. I didn't want [the girls] to be in at first, but they want to, so we're going to have them on. Not a lot, but they'll show up. We're going to show everything about our daily lives, what goes on, what works, what doesn't, how I get into messes and how Harry gets me out of them. You know, our life is just like everybody else's in some ways, and not in others, so we're going to let you peep in and see what it looks like.

3. There's also been a lot of talk, since the '90210' remake, about a 'Melrose Place' remake. Would you participate if it's a go?
I haven't heard anything more about it recently, but I think it would be great. It's the perfect timing for it. It's my favorite show that I ever did, and I would love to play Taylor again! Wouldn't that be fun?

4. So, in addition to the DVDs, the upcoming reality show, your red carpet interviews during awards season on the TV Guide Channel, your Belle Gray clothing stores and the potential 'Melrose' remake, you're also writing a book ... what a great example for your daughters that you're out there creating all these opportunities.
I hope so, because I think that's really what it's all about. The book is called 'Rinnavation: Getting Your Best Life Ever,' and it started out as a diet and exercise book. But it turned into more of a book about my spiritual journey, my journey into motherhood and marriage ... I share everything about myself. Like, everything. And it's also really about how you have to take the power and create these things for yourself. I think it's really, really important to teach my girls that no one's going to hand things to you. You better get out there and ask for what you want. Otherwise, you're going to become a victim of everything and of the universe.

5. We recently counted down the top 50 TV hunks of all time at AOL TV, and Harry was number 21 on the list. Did we rank him high enough?
Haha, that is so funny! Oh, he doesn't know that ... I'm going to show him. That's so great, I love it. And I would put him higher, but the top half is pretty darn good. If he wasn't on the list at all, we'd have a problem. I mean, my husband's a hunky guy!
