Either I'm confused (which is always an option) or you forgot NBC and ABC. Or aren't there any new episodes of "The Office" and "30 Rock"?

Do these guys try to get people to get people to loose interest in shows, and destroy the chance of anyone getting invested in anything?

It seems deliberate.
