I have seen the film, and his eye is not the only thing he loses in the film. Valkyrie was a suspenseful film that was well directed by Bryan Singer. Plus Tom Cruise, Tom Wilkinson, Kenneth Brannaugh and Bill Nighy are fantastic in it. If you don't go see it because you don't like Tom Cruise you are missing out on a fantastic and true little known WWII story about the most successful attempt by some Nazis to assassinate Hitler.
