I too never watch Griffin because she does not do my taste of comedy (to put it mildly) but this was funny, and she and Cooper (who I also barely tolerate because his looks get in my way) were having a lot of fun. For that, and the fact that I did not even know that the word uttered (okay, yelled) was a bad word (if it is, I think it is sooo mild!), I really enjoyed this clip.

This would have been very funny , had it been an original line , & if it hadn't been Kathy Griffin .
She is an untalented , unfunny , stand-up "comic", who is on the z list , as far as I'm concerned .

Why don't all you thin-skinned, overly PC, narrow-minded control freaks and pseudo-liberals just shut up and go the heck away...
It has gotten to the point that you can't say a thing anymore without some putz or "super-mom" being offended or the Speech-Police crashing down on everyone...

I shudder to think what would happen if comic geniuses like Mel Brooks or Harvey Korman or George Carlin or the original Second City TV or Saturday Night Live teams or the Monty Python group were to be coming up with the kind of humor they had us laughing to in the '70's and early '80's...They'd all probably be in jail...
When...and Why...did our once free and open minded society go so sour and thin-skinned and become so easily irritable over everything...
Enough Already...!!!....We need to Lighten-Up as a society and once again be able to say what's on our minds...ALL of us...Without fear of reprisal from the Government, Police and Social Thought Police...

What do you expect from that Loud Mouth "F" list, non celebrity witch. Everyone knows Anderson is Gay, but the reference she made, kinda told everybody in the world that was watching, or at least referred to it. I felt very bad for him. She is another wanna be important witch like that Kathy Lee woman who used to be with that Regis idiot guy who I also can't stand.
I only dislike one person more than any of them, and that is the screeching voice guy who makes all those commercials.

So why is everyone surprised?

If you've ever seen Griffin's standup routine you have to know that she operates under the three T's of insult comedy: Tacky, Tactless, and Trashy.
Her outburst was pretty mild considering what normally fires out of her mouth.
I wouldn't be surprised if the heckler was planted there deliberately for effect.

If people find her offensive, then all they have to do is switch channels. There are hundreds to choose from these days. Don't torture yourself.
