Get a sneak peek at the Sarah Connor Chronicles mid-season premiere - VIDEO

terminator sarah connor chroniclesFor those who didn't catch it when it went live on Friday, we've got the first Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles video podcast right here.

The podcast features producer Josh Friedman giving a tour of his office that, for some reason, looks pretty drab except for a giant plastic cow in a corner. After revealing that the cow might appear on the show, Friedman introduces a clip from the mid-season premiere that features Sarah talking to Kyle Reese, played by Jonathan Jackson. Check it out after the jump.

I really love this clip. Jackson might look a little too baby faced for some fans, but I think he's a good choice to play Kyle. He reminds me a lot of Michael Biehn in the original Terminator movie. It's nice to finally see these two characters reunited, even though the original actors are not playing them. What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to Jackson's Kyle Reese?

I can't wait until the show starts up again on February 13. Fox's Terminator blog will premiere a new video podcast every week leading up to the mid-season premiere. Hopefully, that means we'll get to see more clips before the show comes back.

I still don't see how Kyle Reese, other than the little 8 year old kid who we saw playing catch at the park with his little brother Derrick, can show up in the timeframe of this show.

Maybe Kyle had other missions back in time before his final "protect Sarah Connor from Ahhnuld" mission. We've seen that there are time machines (bank vault) in the present time/past, so maybe they run into him on a previous mission. But if that's the case then he wouldn't know sarah connor, other than by name, and they certainly wouldn't have anything to talk about.

So far the show has been fairly good at keeping the Terminator mythology in tact. This may be a problem for me.

I agree. This worries me.

Either its a dream/ghost/plot-device, or they're ruining things.

Great Clip. Jackson does a great Michael Biehn. It didn't bother me that he's so much younger. He really felt like the original actor. Real soft spoken and spooky. I guess it was supposed to feel like visiting with a ghost. Hence, the fog...I'm pleased with Kyle Reese....
