Yes, it's true: actors have other talents besides just acting.Band From TV (great name) made their national television debut the other night on Jay Leno's show. If you're not familiar with the group, members include Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar (Heroes), James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer (House), and a horn section and chorus from...well, who knows. Maybe they're extras from Lost. Grunberg plays drums, Pasdar and Denton play guitar, Spencer plays violin, and Laurie plays piano. Bachelor star Bob Guiney is the lead singer! Bonnie Somerville sings too, and Teri Hatcher sings sometimes as well (not sure if either of them are in the clip after the jump though). They're not anything earth-shattering, but they seem like a good, solid cover band. Laurie sings in an American accent too! I can't help thinking of their characters when I see them play though. It's like Dr. House called up Matt Parkman and asked him if he wanted to start a band.
Their first CD, Hoggin' All The Covers, is now available.
