What to Watch Friday, Jan. 23

by Kim Potts, posted Jan 23rd 2009 5:00AM
Everybody Hates Chris'Everybody Hates Chris'
(8PM, The CW)
What kind of trouble could Chris and Greg possibly get into at a Fat Boys concert? None ... unless they've used a pair of fake IDs to get into the age-restricted show and then get caught up in a raid of the concert venue.

Which they did. And which they do. Elsewhere, Rochelle tries (the operative word) to throw a surprise party for Julius, and Drew becomes a consumer advocate.

When Chris' bro orders a pair of x-ray glasses that don't allow him to see through walls (and other things a randy teenage boy might want to see through), he goes after the company who sold him the faulty glasses and demands satisfaction. Or, at least, a refund.

'Psych'
(10PM, USA)
We're guessing there will be at least one 'Rescue Me' or 'Backdraft' wisecrack in this episode, in which Gus and Shawn hang with a local fire department crew who appear to have a suspicious tie to a string of arsons.

'Friday Night Lights'
(9PM, NBC)
It's all about the ladies tonight, as Tami has to defend her decision not to install a JumboTron at Dillon, Lyla invites Tim to a swanky dinner and Tyra decides to play dirty politics to win the school election.

'Battlestar Galactica'
(10PM, Sci Fi)
The Cylons offer up technology in exchange for an alliance with the Colonial crew, but Zarek promises there'll be some major frakkin' consequences if such a merger comes to fruition.

'Numb3rs'
(10PM, CBS)
Psychic Samuel Kraft (John Glover) is brought in to help when an undercover agent is kidnapped during a war between rival Chinese gangs.

'What Not To Wear'
(9PM, TLC)
Stacy and Clinton play makeover on a woman whose wardrobe consists of bedazzled jeans and glitter shirts. The problem: She's not a six-year-old. Or 'Hannah Montana.'

'Don't Forget the Lyrics'
(9PM, Fox)
Party like it's 1981, when rocker and former 'General Hospital' star Rick Springfield pops in to help contestants win some dough.

Also on tonight:
- 'Dog Whisperer' (8PM, NGC)
- 'The Best Thing I Ever Ate' (10PM, Food Network)

What's on tomorrow: 'Screen Actors Guild Awards,' 'The Last Templar' and more
