'Eastbound and Down'(Sun., 10:30PM, HBO) series premiere
You probably know him from 'Pineapple Express' and 'Tropic Thunder' (or, for you indie film fans, 'The Foot Fist Way'), but wild and crazy character actor guy Danny McBride is headed to the small screen in this comedy from producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
McBride is Major League Baseball pitcher Kenny Powers, whose loutish behavior on and off the field have led to his permanent ouster from the game.
And since he wasn't exactly a big saver he's dead broke his only option is to slink back to his North Carolina hometown, sponge off his brother and take a job as a gym teacher at his old junior high school.
