Doctor Who spoilers for Tennant's last hurrah
There is some news regarding David Tennant's final trilogy story as the Doctor which involves the return of some familiar faces. Or, at the very least, some familiar faces hanging around the set, thus heavily implying that the characters will be used in the story.News and links are after the jump...
Both Bernard Cribbins and John Simm have been seen on set during filming, according to denofgeek.com. This opens up a whole boatload of questions. Is Russell T. Davies trying to emulate the "Master trilogy" stories which was the end of the Tom Baker era? Are the characters involved in the story or is it just some sort of flashback or hallucination? If Wilfred Mott is there, is Donna far behind?
Obviously, the answers to these questions won't be available until the end of the year, but isn't it fun to postulate now? What do you think is happening with David Tennant's final storyline on Doctor Who that involves Wilfred Mott and the Master?
