Susan Boyle sings Cry Me A River

by Annie Wu, posted Apr 17th 2009 10:04AM
Susan BoyleBritain's Got Talent has yet another clip currently sweeping the Internet, and it's in the form of Susan Boyle and her striking voice. In a craze that has made me never want to hear "Never judge a book by its cover" again, the clip of Boyle singing her heart out and wow-ing the visibly skeptical crowd has reminded us to never judge a book by ... its ... cover. Damn it, it's unavoidable, isn't it?

Well, point is, people want more, and thanks to some digging, The Daily Record has found a recording of Boyle singing "Cry Me A River" from an extremely limited 1999 charity CD. Give it a listen, Boyle fans. You'll be delighted.

And no, it's not the Justin Timberlake version.

Not too shabby, right? Hopefully, Boyle will get to have a bit more fun with her newfound fame and get to do what she has always wanted to do. I consider myself to be a relatively cold-hearted robot, but I'm a sucker for a good underdog story.

Susan has a voice that I have always wanted. I love to sing, but no one wants me to. So I can appreciate a beautiful voice. Susan is right up there with Barbara S. and Celine D. in my book.
Go all the way darling.

Her voice sounds like an eighteen year old gorgeous blonde! I love her voice and I'm sure that now that she's well on her way to fame and fortune that she'll have a nice personal assistant who will guide her on how to diet, and get her hair and face enhanced by proper make up, etc and will advise her on how to dress to enhance her appearance. She has the voice of an angel and I'm sure she's a lovely person.

At least her beauty comes from the inside where it counts and not from plastic, botox, lipo, or silicone like all the other 'you see one, you've seen them all' so-called beauties.

i don't think its that she is ugly....she is average....more...not "done". she will never be a supermodel....and part of her charm is her simplicity. i am sure that they will dress her up a bit.....

i just love that she had the courage to get up there and share her gift.
