What to Watch Friday, April 17

'Prison Break'

It's the beginning of the end, as the show kicks off a string of twist-filled new episodes that will lead to its series finale later this spring.

First up, Michael and Sara stick out their thumbs and hitchhike their way to Miami, while Michael's bro Linc meets up with Mama Scofield, who is not only not dead, but who lets Linc in on her plans to take over The Company – and issues her little man a warning that he should not interfere with said plan.

Elsewhere, T-Bag and the traitorous Self are hot on the trail of Scylla, and are going to be quite surprised when they find out who is in possession of the oh-so-sought-after Company database of secrets.

When The Porous One and his pals are stranded away from home, they must seek the counsel of Jack Kahuna Luna (guest star Johnny Depp) to learn how to surf The Big One, a giant wave that will take them back to the Bottom.

'The First Columbine'
(10PM, WE)
With the 10-year anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre right around the corner (April 20), this documentary takes a look at another infamous school shooting: The 1979 spree in which 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer killed two adults and wounded eight children when she opened fire at an elementary school. Her reason: "I don't like Mondays."

'Stranger Among Bears'
(10PM, Animal Planet) series premiere
He's 70-year-old retired teacher Charlie Vandergaw, The Man Who Lives With Bears. In the premiere, he's The Man Who Gets Into a Tiff With Hunters Who Trespass in His Bear Haven.

'Wife Swap'
(8PM, ABC)
The old switcheroo tonight involves a wealthy, status-obsessed mom and a woman who lives in a cabin in the woods, sans electricity.

'Say Yes to the Dress'
(10PM, TLC)
An Indian bride is searching for a big red wedding gown, which poses a challenge for Kleinfeld consultant Carmel. As if going through life named after a delicious, creamy candy bar filling wasn't challenging enough.
