Everyone wants to try a Mentalist sandwich

Mentalist sandwich

First of all, shame on you for the dirty things that popped into your mind after reading that headline.

Second, if you wanted to have a sandwich for lunch today that was named after a CBS character, who would it be? CBS has the answer with their Sandwich Central. Not really sure what made them think of this (beyond a promo deal with Hellman's), but you can have The Melinda (which they describe as "ghostly egg salad"), The Amazing Race ("ham and Gruyere cheese"), The Barney ("Italian cured meats"), and The Mentalist ("turkey breast, avocado, and melted brie"). You'd think there would be red onions or red peppers in a Mentalist sandwich.

Now, what would a Harper's Island sandwich have in it? Let us know in the comments.

After last night's episode of The Mentalist, where Jane's "trick" was to literally coerce a suspect into confessing by saying "confess or die - the hitman is on his way to kill you right now" I don't think I'd want to be thinking of the Mentalist while I'm eating. Have they run out of ideas to such an extent that blatantly illegal coerced confessions are Jane's new trick? And yes, Jane is a "police officer" for purposes of coercing confessions in violation of a suspect's constitutional rights.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
