Medium renewed, Parks almost ... what's left for the "infront"?

by Jason Hughes, posted May 3rd 2009 8:33PM
MediumSo now word is coming out that NBC has renewed Medium; it's one of those consistent performers, neither stellar in the ratings or buzz, but solid enough and with a loyal base. What's weird is that all this news is coming out before NBC's "infront" presentation scheduled for tomorrow. And we've already heard that Chuck's fate will likely not be determined tomorrow, nor will Law & Order's chances at tying Gunsmoke's twenty season. Parks & Recreation is already negotiating its renewal, and Southland was picked up a couple of days ago.

Plus, they've already said they wouldn't be announcing their schedule, so what's left for the "infront"? And why did so much news come out already? Are they just announcing which new shows they pick up or will that news come right before the presentation? Perhaps they'll surprise everyone and renew Chuck tomorrow. And they leaked all this other information so it wouldn't get overshadowed by the Nerd Herd of the nation rejoicing. Well, one can hope.

My anti-virus found a trojan trying to install itself when I clicked on that "ugogirlwear" link above. You might want to remove the link.

News on Kings? Did Saturday really kill it, or are they gonna give it another season to end?

Ya know, if they too away all the sets and extras, just made it into a cheap-o soap, I'd still watch it. Keep it around!

When they moved it to saturday, it was all over.

Sorry, I never watched it, but it seems like people really do like it.

The main reason for the "Infronts" to be in such disarray was the tragic death of Nora O'Brien (VP of Drama Programming @ NBC) this past week. That fact seems to have been lost among the scrambling for Chuck news.

Might make us look a big less like slobbering fanboys is we all acknowledged the loss of a person instead of whining about this possible loss or not of a TV Show....
