Fox renews Fringe for season two

We all knew this was a lock.Fans of Fox's Fringe can now officially look forward to season two.
The show was a hit right out of the gate, garnering huge numbers for its series premiere. It's currently the "number one show for adults 18-49," according to Fox. If that doesn't guarantee you a renewal, then I don't know what will.
Aside from the show's great cast, its quirky sense of humor, and its compelling mysteries, there are two reasons I'll stick with Fringe through season two: Producer J.J. Abrams and Leonard Nimoy.
Star Trek's Nimoy is slated to be around for an episode or two (hopefully more) next season as Massive Dynamic founder William Bell. Nimoy's return to television is reason enough to tune in.
Abrams might not be running this show directly, but I trust his team (including Star Trek movie writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman) and his vision for the show. Plus, the guy gives great quote. Check out what he had to say about the show's renewal in a Fox press release:
"We couldn't be more thrilled that Fringe will continue to freak people out for at least another season!"
OK, I didn't bust a gut laughing either, but it's still pretty funny.
Now if they could only pair Fringe up with Terminator on a decent night, then everyone would be happy.
