What is Mrs. Butterworth's first name?

Mrs. Butterworth'sThis is probably not something you've thought about, but maybe you should. You could win a case of maple syrup!

Mrs. Butterworth's is having a Guess Mrs. Butterworth's First Name contest. If you guess the name, you win enough maple syrup to drown a small town plus $500.

The only thing I don't get is whether she actually has a first name already and we have to guess what it is or if she doesn't have a first name and they're going to pick the best name to use in future ads. Either way, it will be cool to see a name you came up with used in TV commercials, eh? She's been around for a while, so I really doubt her first name is something like Kelly or Jennifer or Lindsey or Britney. I'm gonna go with Beatrice. Yeah, Beatrice Butterworth sounds about right.

Here are a few commercials from over the years to give you some ideas.

In the 80s she had a real old lady voice.

More recently, her voice makes her sound more like she's a youthful 63.

I know the authors of things like this probably never read the comments (at least, for their sake, I hope they don't), but if you could make one minor correction to indicate that the winner will receive enough 'table syrup' or 'pancake syrup' or 'corn syrup flavored to taste a little bit like maple syrup' that would be helpful.

The fine folks at Butterworth/Jemima Inc. don't make maple syrup. The only thing 'Log Cabiny' about that industry is the deceptive image one of the brands uses on its bottles.

From the official rules: A winner will be chosen "...based on creativity and adherence to theme".

So, it appears that there is no actual first name, and they want you to make one up, like I did before reading the rules ;)

I think I have a good one, and a good explanation why, but I can't tell it, because you might be able to improve on it, since it's made up and all.
