Hell's Kitchen picks a winner
Paula was the most consistent chef in terms of quality and consistency all season long. Danny was also very consistent with his service, but it seemed that Paula edged him out.
Remember people, this is not Top Chef. The main criteria that Gordon Ramsey values above everything else is consistent perfection with every dish that goes out. It is indicative of cooking in a real restaurant. Top Chef looks for creativity and artistry, and rewards innovation. Hell's Kitchen is a different show, so remember what the contestants are judged on.
I think Paula should've won overall because she made the fewest mistakes all season long. She was always consistent and top-notch, which is why you hardly saw her get in trouble. It does seem that her team let her down in the finals, where Danny's superior team won the show for him.
And if you're disappointed with the appearance of the chefs vs what they can deliver, get out of here. You should be watching some crap show on MTV or VH1.
I really want to like this show, but the quality of the contestants has continued to decline. I can hardly watch anymore. If the people are going to be worthless, they could at least be interesting or attractive.
luv lacey
was nice to see the 4 winners there from the past 4 seasons
and why don't any of them wear hairnets ???
Of course Danny was going to win. They needed another "guy" to do it.
None of these seasons were as good as the first one when it was a real compition.
I have watched most of the seasons and this one was okay. It is definitely not in the league with Top Chef but you wouldn't expect it to be coming from Fox. I have always wondered if the qualifications to be on the show included smoking and cussing like a sailor. No offense to sailors.

But this show would be so much better if they left the nutcases out of the competition. At least half of the "contestants" aren't up for this show. They are only there for "entertainment"-values... Well, sigh, this ain't "Top Chef" :(
Why wasn't there a going over of why Danny won over Paula? Did I miss that somewhere?
I think they picked out who they really liked in the beginning and cast around those people.
I didn't watch but i did skip to the end to catch the winner..
I thought Danny was going to be in the final two from the beginning it seemed through out the season he was the only competent chef. Paula was a surprise because I didn't even know she was on the show until the last 3 episodes when she was knocking service and challenges out the park..
this was probably the weakest season ever i didn't care which one of these guys won Roc would destroy them in a battle anyway.
