Another sneak peek: ABC's The Forgotten

I want to give every show (that isn't a reality show) the benefit of the doubt, because even the more mundane premise can be great with the right writing and cast. Having said that, do we really need another TV show about a team of quirky investigators solving crimes? Here's a clip from the first episode of The Forgotten. (And here are previews of ABC's new comedies.)

Well, it's got Rupert Penry-Jones in it, so that's a plus, but really, isn't this just something like "Without a Cold Trace"? Actually, it's more like Cold Case + Leverage, because it seems like the team works outside the boundaries of the law. I'll check it out for the eye candy at least, but why oh why can't English actors use their own accents? Bravo to Tim Roth for getting to keep his.
