Preview of Jon & Kate Plus 8's new season: Two minutes of crippling sadness

I just wish they'd show that clip again of her denying her child water only to lift the bottle to her own lips while the child pitifully looks on, muttering how mean she is.

*sigh* it just warms the cockles of one's heart!

Time to turn this show OFF. Stop feeding the INSANITY of the rabid fans and the equally rabid female who is the "STAR" of her own show, the "all about me show ,starring Kate Gosselin.... oh ya, she has 8 children which you'll also see her ignoring"

The Dilleys got it right. Show important days in the children's life once in a blue moon. I noticed they're still together, and seem to still have "got it together".

Kate is going to be one sorry woman when Jon's gone, the kids won't have anything to do with her, and the money just doesn't feel that good anymore. It seems logical to me that if 1,000,000 can see that Kate is using the children to make money, fame, etc, then at least one of the kids will figure it out too. Last night, Kate stupidly screams through-out the house "who pooped? call out,I can't hear you, who pooped? Finally, maddy confesess that joel pooped. kate has the nerve to suggest that maddy wipe Joel! This ought to be quite the joke for mean spirited school children. But of course Kate has reasured us that "they go to a very nice school where the parents aren't into this." uh huh, Is that "The Make Believe School" where you couldn't even address, or thank any of the children for coming to the 5 y.o. party?

I was so embarrassed for Kate at that party. Can you imagine the host at the party announcing that this seemed like a very long party? "Does anyone else feel like this party is just too long? Next time it's just eat and leave." I would have excused my child right then, so we could have gone somewhere to have some fun, and feel wanted. Honestly Kate. You need some serious help. I suggest maybe you add a little spirituality into the childrens life. Perhaps a loving place of worship where the children can learn that God created each of us to love one another. I'm hoping for the best Kate, but prepared for something very different!

What comes out from the mouth, may come from a selfish and stony heart.

Do you notice the words that come out of Kate's mouth? We often hear her say "It's so annoying", "I'll get a heart attack", etc.

If truly she considers her children as blessings, why does she complain a lot? She should "walk the talk" not just "talk the talk".

Even when she tries to go positive, she still says "ridiculously delicious", ridiculously good"....

However, she is now "ridiculously" unrecognizable with her heavy make-up and her "ridiculously" long eyelashes. What in the world are all those adornment for?

Because there seems to be no redeeming factor in HER SHOW, I no longer enjoy watching it. May the kids grow up well despite the "blindness" and denials of the parents. Adios.

I even wonder if Kate is a "neat freak" any more. I don't see her running and cleaning up anything anymore. I don't see dirt getting on her nerves, or dust. Early in the episodes, she stated she had "OCD". And no cleaning lady was good enough. YAWNNNNN. I mean, hand sanitizer, and the while 9. Now I don't see no kinda wet naps....rofl. I guess LYING IN THAT TANNING BED BEHIND OTHER PEOPLE, took the OCD fear away. Oh yeah, why the body guards, for promoting a book during tours. I still don't get that one. And I heard she was doing a cook book next. What is going to be on the menu, Lé Peanut Butter and Jelly Sammiches, a la modé, with encrusted bread ends, served on paper plates....with a side of pineapple chunks, just right for little fingers? snickerin....

No matter what Christian counseling they have, IF one of them has delusions of grandeur about her knowledge and skills and has a holier-than-thou attitude THAT CANNOT BE VANGUISHED, it's an exercise of futility.

Top that with her refusal to see herself in the mirror, and her stubborn blindness and being in denial to reality; and you see a bottomless pit that cannot be reached.

And her tendency to point the finger at others (Jon, kids, papparazi, you name it) makes it seem even more hopeless. I may be wrong, but I can also seem to detect some sense of entitlement that selfish, bratty people have.

So many viewers getting annoyed by her ways means she's the COMMON DENOMINATOR in the family's problems. No wonder she's not including her parents in her family life, no wonder she can't even be considerate to her own brother's family. What kind of a person is this?

I hope that BEFORE REGRET COMES TOO LATE, she comes to her senses and makes determined efforts towards honest-to-goodness improvement.

Imagine how damaging it is to leave in a hostile environment!!! I hope, for the sake of the kids, her eyes will open to reality. The kids' physical and psychological well-being should be a GOOD MOTIVATOR TOWARDS IMPROVINHG HERSELF.

We turn into the "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" show TO WATCH THE KIDS who are simply lovable and fascinating. And what a kind and loving big sister Cara is - we love her and her siblings.

But why don't you just title the show simply as "KATE" in capital letters because a big part of the show is Kate talking about herself, her ways, her thoughts, etc. She can keep those to herself because we're not interested. Please THE SHOW IS NOT ABOUT KATE - QUIT FEEDING HER EGO!

I pity Kate, however, because she seems to be either stubbornly blind or in denial to reality. Before regret comes too late, why doesn't she take steps at improvement now?

Until it is obvious that she finally realizes her problem (would she enjoy being treated the way she's treating Jon and others?), has remorse, and attempts at improvement, we'll be pleased at watching her. Viewers are only reacting to what they see and it's not good - viewers are not persecuting Kate. We only want to see good, nice kids without the aggravation.

I may be wrong, but it seems like Kate's kissing the kids and her singsong voice to them during the sextuplets' 5th birthday, WAS JUST FOR SHOW. She used to have strict, demanding voice to the kids, used to get annoyed when they were in the way, and was never heard saying "sweetheart" or "love" or "darling" and other endearing words to them -- unless we missed those rare, rare episodes. Actually, the kids are sometimes included in her variety of complaints.

So she's a neat freak - she can easily discard that if her priorities are right. WHICH IS HER PRIORITY: peace and love in the family, or fear and chaos in kowtowing to her obsession.

Kate, take your words seriously - THE KIDS ARE REALLY A BLESSING whom one needs to nurture and be tolerant at even when they get into innocent mistakes. You yourself were also young once and who knows what childish mistakes you must have done.

Kate uses these magazines & tv shows to promote book sales,but when they use her for stories for their benefit,she doesn't like it.Seems pretty one way to me.NOW their show salary has gone from 60 per episode to 75k will it ever stop? when will this woman stop? i think she has gotten enough freebies.Her behavior was so fake she should of had phoney written on her forehead,
( phoney tears included) and Jon should of had dead inside written on his! She has anger? ROFL! why? the bad publicity may cost her a few bucks? her dirty little secrets are out? that she's never home? and a lousy all about her mother? who cares more about her looks & money then her kids? thats the real reason she's mad! and the comment "won't let it take me down" ?? what the hell is that? ANY NORMAL,LOVING,CARING,WIFE & MOTHER WOULD HAVE SAID " I WON'T LET THIS RUIN MY FAMILY,& WILL WORK ON MY MARRIAGE,NO MORE SHOWS" and now she is in California tanning? with mr bodyguard! its just unreal. If John did cheat,and she knows he did,it would not shock me she turned around and did it,she seems VERY spiteful! and all of a sudden pay attention to her fans? why? because she sees her fans are fit to be tied with her behavior? anger honey,is what people have for YOU for what you are doing to those kids,you don't know what anger is!

While I agree with alot of things people here are saying I would also point out that just about anyone in thier situation would take advantage of the "perks" also. If resorts were offering you free trips, if surgeons were offering to take care of your problem areas you would take them up on it in a heart beat and that would not make you a bad person just like it dosen't make them. If they didn't have the show and the books etc. They would be in DIRE straights caring for 8 kids. And yes it was thier decison to bring them into this world but they are doing what they can to take care of them Because of the show TLC is paying them, not us like the Octomom. So they take trips and get pampered on occasion, who wouldn't need that after 8 kids? If you look at the earlier episodes you can see alot of love between Kate and Jon. Some of that seems to have faded, but I think they could rekindle it. The one thing that bothered me on the preview was they kept saying how much they loved thier kids, but neglected to mention love for one another. They need to go away on a 2nd honeymoon, reconnect and then come back and get marriage counseling. To the people who talk like the children are being abused please you can tell the kids are happy and well cared for. Lots of moms and dads work and have to spend time away from thier families. Look at military personnel they are gone for YEARS at a time, but no one says they are bad parents. I wisht Jon and Kate well and hope they can work through this.

I am sorry but Kate is really nasty and mean to Jon.....She belittles him and treats him like the kids. I just can't watch it anymore. I pray they work it out for the sake of those babies. I will pray

WE SHOULD NOT FEED THE WHIMS AND EGO OF A PERSON WHO CANNOT BE A ROLE MODEL.

A good role model is humble and quiet, and even without people watching, still does what is right in God's eyes and is a blessing to everyone he/she meets.
