NBC's 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here' premiered last night with results one would normally expect when a network sends 11 pampered celebrities into the jungles of Costa Rica: Patti Blagojevich was accidentally carried away by a river; the camp rallied around her husband, ex-Illinois Governor Rod; 'American Idol''s Sanjaya Malakar swallowed an Iguana's tail whole.

But even less surprising were the night's biggest scene-stealers: Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag -- uh, make that Heidi Pratt.
For the first time ever, viewers got to see the infamous reality couple stripped of their slick 'Hills' lighting, make-up and fashion. But when they weren't sleeping in their hammock, pouring on pounds of hairspray or calling NBC exec Ben Silverman to literally get them out of there, they were causing the same old drama we've grown to know -- and love/hate -- them for.
In one instance, the Pratts disappeared from the camp, leading the rest to believe they were gone for good. The players then mockingly ransacked their items, calling dibs on their hammock and ripping the labels off of Heidi's dry shampoo product.
This infuriated Spencer when the couple finally returned (the camp disrespected his wife, he claimed) and led to an all-out verbal and physical war -- complete with accusations that pro wrestler Torrie Wilson was on steroids and Spencer smacking Angela V. Shelton of Frangela's water bottle out of her hand.

Throwing a fit at the very beginning of the show, which airs four nights a week on NBC, could spell trouble for Spencer. The votes are now in America's hands, who will ultimately decide who stays and who goes. But given all the scheming he's done on 'The Hills,' is this latest blow-up all part of his strategy? Is Spencer causing watercooler drama to win votes? Or is he just as clueless as ever?
