Medium: Bring Me The Head Of Oswaldo Castillo (season finale) - open thread

by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 2nd 2009 8:18AM
MediumOf course, this was the series finale on NBC only. The show moves to CBS next season where it will become CSI: Medium Los Angeles. Or something.

Last night Allison had visions of her entire family being murdered. That didn't happen, of course, but she did end the season in a coma after having a stroke during surgery. My guess? She gets out of it next season, but not before some trippy thing happening while she's in the coma for an episode or two.

What did you think of this episode?

The actress playing the bank teller played the secretary on Moonlighting with Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd.
I think she was called Miss Beasley or something equally
nerdy.

just watched it now GREAT season ender it would have sucked if that was the season finale THANKS CBS funny that NBC would tack on to be continued but since its produced by CBS they could have got in another jab at NBC by putting in the closing credits to be continued over on CBS the wiser network LOL

I predict a wholesale recasting for the new network, and maybe a new location. I suspect a time jump will occur, maybe a year or two, thereby giving us different looking kids (new and cheaper talent) and a new DA, with Scanlon off raising his kid. Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber are prolly safe, especially if Jake is still working for Ebon Moss-Bachrach and has relocated to CA full time while Allison recovered.

Greg, you must not realize what prompted the move to CBS in the first place - "Medium" is a product of CBS Studios. NBC only purchased the right to air it while CBS itself produced it. This should mean that there will be few if any changes (other than its new and improved timeslot!) when the show resurfaces on the new network.

If anyone recalls, the same thing happened to JAG (except JAG was only on ONE season before NBC canned it). NBC kicked it to the curb and CBS retooled it and ran it for an amazing NINE seasons. In addition, the series spawned the top rated NCIS for CBS, already having run an addtional SIX years with no end in sight. Let's just say that NBC really knows how to dump 'em!

All this for Jay FREAKING Leno...

Loved loved loved the season finale. As usual, you never know where her dreams are taking her until the end of the episode, and it's never quite what you expect. This is what I have always loved about Medium, and I look forward to the continuing love affair next season on CBS!

I think you shouldn't put the gorram SPOILER in the first 2 paragraphs! Thanks for ruining the ending for me, jacknut.

I thought that once an episode was aired such info was not considered a spoiler? I watched it last night so it wasn't a spoiler to me. I had hoped to read more about why it said "to be continued" without NBC stating we have to watch a different network.

true, mf, but in this golden age of time-skipping it seems to have become a general rule to post spoilers (especially season finale ones) after a jump so those that missed the show can still peruse the site safely until they get a chance to watch it.
