A series of free music and comedy performances especially for fans of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim is coming to New York City. The Adult Swim Presents Summer at Santos Series includes six live shows featuring a different musical and/or comedy performance each night.
It's a great opportunity for fans of various Adult Swim series to see their creators and stars live and on stage. The casts and minds behind Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! were each asked to prepare their own unique show for their respective night.
When you consider how bizarre any one of these can be, it's hard to imagine what attendees could end up with when the lights go live.
The shows will occur every other Thursday night, beginning June 11, at the Santos Party House in Manhattan. All shows are free and open to the public, ages 18 and up (of course).
Highlights include:
- July 9 – Brendon Small (Metalocalypse), with Paul Green's School of Rock
- July 30 – Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!)
- August 6 – Dave Willis (Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies)
