Believe it or not, the new Melrose Place features sex

by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 15th 2009 9:02AM
I wasn't a Melrose Place person (my nighttime soap was Knot's Landing), though I did watch that episode where it blew up. Now The CW has a new version of the show, and it's filled with a few characters from the old FOX show and many new faces. Oh, and if you were wondering, there seems to be an abundance of sex, drugs, parties, fast cars, loose women, backstabbing, affairs, and loud music. Here's an extended preview.

never saw the original MP but i'll watch this just because the cast. It has Katie Cassidy (original Ruby from SN), Michael Rady (so does this mean Max won't be going back to CRU?), Jessica Lucas (why is she playing 2 separate characters that take place in the same world? how with that work out if Ryan jumps over as well? I mean they dated when she was the cop chick), & Stephanie Jacobsen (just to see her in something other than TSCC)

oh yeah, that didn't look like ashley simpson at all to me. & i don't think a more adult version of GG is a bad thing.

Is it wrong of me to say this looks like the adult version of Gossip Girl and, that isn't necessarily good. I wasn't a fan of the original MP and it looks like I won't be a fan of this one either -

90210 was a hit, so, it's worth a shot I guess. I never watched Melrose Place though.
