Suddenly I think I weigh more than Horatio Sanz

by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 17th 2009 6:01PM
I turned on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night and noticed this in-shape, leading-man guy being interviewed and I couldn't figure out who it was. It was Horatio Sanz, Fallon's former cohort on SNL. He's lost 100 pounds, grown a beard, and dresses a lot better, and he doesn't look anything like his old self. He and Fallon showed one of their "we can't stop laughing" sketches from SNL. It's not the Debbie Downer sketch we all remember, but it's worth seeing again.

You must have missed "In The Motherhood." I had the same reaction the first time I tuned in and saw Horatio.

Other than that, you didn't miss much.

Horatio looks exactly like Bill Richardson.

Agreed Nola I loved it when they ruined sketches.. the point is to make me laugh and I laughed every time they messed up..

Is is bad that I enjoy Fallon's show now more than Conan.. I know.. I know... I'll show myself out....

Don't worry, you're not the only one.. I think Conan has gone soft since the switch..

I've never DVRed a talk show before, but now I find myself DVRing Fallon every night..

I'm really enjoying Fallon and I'm glad they have cut his monologue time and raised his bit time IMO that's where he's at his best..

Agreed. These two turned lame sketches into gold by breaking character and giggling like school girls. I was surprised too when I saw Horatio on Fallon last night. He certainly looks the part now.

Even though those two ruined many a sketch by laughing, they made unfunny sketches like that funny with their cracking up. Works out just like the awesome Debbie Downer sketch with Lindsay Lohan, which you can link to cause it's now available on Hulu.
