Susan Boyle could appear on America's Got Talent

The unstable Susan Boyle could perform on America's Got Talent.Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle could jump from her runner-up appearance on Britain's Got Talent to perform on the colonial remake, America's Got Talent.

According to producers, they'd love Boyle to sing in front of millions of U.S. viewers. There's no word if they'd consider changing the name of the show to America's Got Talented, Frumpy 48 Year Old Scottish Women Who Had a Nervous Breakdown after Almost Winning the Overseas Show We're Ripping Off.

The self-confessed virgin had rarely stepped foot outside her village in Scotland before taking a shot at fame on ITV. But, her breakout performance made her an online sensation.

Unfortunately, her pleasant, homey demeanor started to show cracks the week before the show's climactic episode. When she lost to a dance troupe in the finals, Boyle ended up in a hospital with "exhaustion."

But Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell continues to support a singing career for Boyle and could be instrumental in bringing her across the pond. If it gets the woman up off the mat, why not?

Oh Please, I am SO over this -- she is obviously emotionally fragile (and that's saying it nicely) and I think it would be cruel to put her through the same ordeal all over again in America -- oh, wait, that's what we love to watch here in the USA -- trainwrecks. And if she ain't a trainwreck, I dunno what is. Give it a rest awreddy.

Well, lets see. One day she was an unknown who had spent the majority of her life caring for others, had endured teasing and worse in childhood, had kept her dream alive in spite of overwhelming odds that it would never come true, had had the courage to face a doubting audience and snickering judges, then overnight was written about and analyzed all over the world. And in the end attacked by the very media who built her up, resulting in a brief bout of exhaustion. From which she recovered and has since performed brilliantly in venues in England and Scotland. Yea, sure sounds fragile to me.

The media didn't build her up.

It's not a ripoff, it's part of the Got Talent franchise.
