"Let's get this genocide started!"
That Cavil is one evil bucket of bolts.
Sci Fi's new trailer for Battlestar Galactica: The Plan is making the rounds and drumming up anticipation for the TV movie, which premieres this fall. The Plan will portray the events of the Cylon attack on the twelve colonies through the perspective of the Cylons. It's directed by Admiral Adama himself, Edward James Olmos, and written by BSG and Warehouse 13 scribe Jane Espenson, who also helped craft the BSG Web series the Face of the Enemy.
This thing looks even better than Razor, the first BSG TV movie that focused on the Pegasus crew. I'm looking forward to watching Cavil pull the strings and put his deadly plan into motion. I hope this movie accomplishes at least two things: First, I want it to deliver a tense, engaging story that fills in some of the gaps left by the series. Second, I hope it reminds the powers that be in Hollywood about the amazing and talented cast and crew of BSG. I want to see these people, especially James Callis and Katte Sackhoff, getting their due and landing choice roles in quality films and TV shows now that BSG is over.
